This Privacy Policy explains what information Turmina Labs collects when you play Battle of Races, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. By creating an account and playing the game, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you register and play:

• Account information — your email address and chosen username.
• Game data — your units, resources, workers, research progress, battle history, and rankings.
• Game activity — actions you take in the game such as training troops, attacking other players, and claiming rewards.

We do not collect your real name, phone number, location, or payment information. We do not use advertising SDKs or analytics trackers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account.
• To run the game — calculating battles, tracking resources, and displaying rankings.
• To send transactional emails, such as account verification.
• To respond to support requests you send us.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (UK & EU Users)

Where UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:

• Contract — to create your account and provide the game service.
• Legitimate interests — to maintain platform security and send transactional communications related to the game.
• Consent — for any additional processing not covered above, where we will ask for your explicit agreement.

4. Data Storage and International Transfers

Your data is stored on infrastructure operated by Supabase and Google Cloud Platform. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, your data is removed within 30 days.

Your data may be stored or processed outside your country of residence. When transferring data internationally, we rely on the standard contractual clauses and data processing agreements provided by our infrastructure partners (Supabase and Google Cloud Platform) to ensure an equivalent level of protection.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the game:

• Supabase — database and authentication. Privacy policy.
• Google Cloud Platform — infrastructure hosting. Privacy notice.

These services process your data only as needed to provide the game functionality described above.

6. Children

Battle of Races is rated for ages 12 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Your Rights

You may at any time:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.
• Update your email address by contacting support.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@battleofraces.com. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are in the UK and are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

8. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and hashed passwords. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when new features are released (for example, in-app purchases). When we make material changes, we will notify you inside the app and ask you to review and accept the updated policy before continuing to play.
